Job summary
An exciting opportunity exists for 2 maintenance assistant with a mechanical bias and willingness to develop within a vibrant and progressive Estates maintenance service.
The estates management team aims to provide an excellent support service to the Trust's assets, its patients, staff and visitors.
Main duties of the job
Primary role - water quality sampling, cleaning and disinfection of water services, flushing H&CW outlets, un-blocking WC's minor plumbing repairs, maintenance of water softeners, chlorine dioxide plant and thermostatic mixing valves.

You will be part of a modernising team carrying out a range of minor engineering works across all core mechanical engineering skills.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic understanding of all modern general maintenance activities, a willingness to learn, be a dedicated team player and have a proven track record and being qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent standards.
Good communication and basic IT skills are key elements to the post, being confident liaising with staff at all levels throughout the Trust.
