Job summary

The Estates Electrical Section requires a maintenance assistant to join there busy department in order to carry out minor electrical repairs and planned preventative maintenance. Typical duties for this post are the testing of Fire Alarms,, Emergency lighting and being familiar with engineering plant and equipment.

Main duties of the job

The post holder should have relevant experience and some form of electrical/engineering qualification preferable to City & Guilds standard or equivalent. Good written and oral communication skills are a key element of this post and a clean driving license would be an advantage but not a necessity.
