We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our clerical support team to provide cover throughout the Wolverhampton 0-19 Service.
The successful applicant should be able to provide efficient, effective and comprehensive clerical support to the 0-19 Service, in a shared office setting, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. To ensure that all patient information is correct and to deal with day to day enquiries from both the general public and other hospital departments in a courteous, efficient and timely manner. In addition it is a necessity that applicants have a good standard of typing and IT skills and be able to work on their own and as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
To provide clerical support in the 0-19 admin hub for the whole of the 0-19 service which includes Health Visiting; School Nursing and The Partnering Families Team.

Job responsibilities
To manage the 0-19 telephone lines ensuring messages are passed on as soon as possible to either duty HV, health visiting, school nursing and PFT teams.To input on the Eclipse electronic records system all types of referrals, these could be received via telephone, e mail, paper or other organisations.To generate daily reports from Eclipse and then input this data in a timely fashion onto PAS and uploaded onto the clients record.To update demographic details onto PAS.To ensure documentation that is not part of the Eclipse system is scanned in a timely fashion.To retrieve information from computer to maintain good record keeping.To be responsible for setting up clerical systems and maintaining systems as required.To provide typing support, e.g. letters, appointments, reports, etc and sending on as appropriate.To open and distribute any post, letters, notifications and deal with accordingly.To support with movements in and out of the 0-19 service and no trace children.To update and maintain tracking systems associated with patient records.Support with mail merge of NCMP and education lists.To book baby clinic appointments, new to country appointments, antenatal and developmental appointments.To maintain death register acting on information received.Able to use e-mail, internet/intranet, NHS systems and electronic school lists.To accurately input and update all relevant information on computer systems using keyboard skills as appropriateThe person appointed must be willing to be both flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of this role and be prepared to work flexible hours to provide any necessary cover that is required.To ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to.Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
