Job summary

Support to AHP students in clinical practice. Co ordinating induction and placement areas to ensure a quality learning opportunity is provided. Support and teach AHPs to maximize their learning. Collate and maintain data in line with organizational requirements. The CPEP project aims to increase physiotherapy student placements.

To co-ordinate, support, facilitate and monitor learning opportunities within the Clinical Placement Learning environment to ensure public protection. To enable pre-registration learners to achieve practice assessment outcomes for the purpose of professional registration. To support the delivery of post registration training as appropriate. Prepare and provide support to practice mentors. Teach device training, deliver programmes of learning and undertake educational audits in partnership with local HEIs under the direction of the Matron for Pre-registration Education.

To be professionally accountable for the delivery of standards of professional practice as set by the Registering Bodies (HCPC).
