Main duties of the job
The Post holder will manage the effective day to day running of the theatre and anaesthetic store, ensuring correct receipt of incoming products in line with Trust policy and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs).
They will be responsible for effective stock rotation within the anaesthetic, soft stores and Menzies storage areas and ensuring products are supplied/made available for theatres in an efficient and timely manner

Responsible for daily management of Theatre soft store , anaesthetic and Menzies store areas and for prompt and accurate processing of deliveries Ensure delivery of stock is managed and stored in accordance with IPC guidelines. Ensure theatres have access to the required products to support clinical workload and theatre efficiency Action urgent requests for stock Locate all stock in correct place and correct sequence to comply with correct stock rotation in accordance with Standing Operating Procedures Stocking up and cleaning of storage carts throughout the theatre units. Maintaining accurate cleaning records of storage areas Support regular stock checks within theatres and annual stock check Carry out expiry date checks to reduce/prevent wastage Ensure security of store areas are maintained at all times and report any breaches via line manager & datix completion. Check kitchen and food areas are kept clean & tidy at all times, i.e. discarding out of date food, stock rotation Responsible for documenting all cleaning activity within soft stores and associated areas in line with cleaning schedules Assist in maintaining and updating paper-based/electronic records and information as required
