Job summary

You will assist the Team Lead in the organisation, co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service to the Orthopaedic Unit, to ensure efficient and effective provision of service and care to patients.

Main duties of the job

  • To lead on the co-ordination and delivery of the occupational therapy service within orthopaedics. The service is provided across the acute, rehab and outpatient settings.
  • To undertake a clinical caseload and treat to a high professional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience, to patients with complex physical and psychological conditions. To maintain comprehensive records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To help ensure a cohesive service for orthopaedics, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment and the patients' successful integration into the community.

  • Broad rotational experience as a Junior & experience at working at a senior level in orthopaedics
