We are seeking someone who can drive the Trust forward leading innovation and efficient processes to deliver high-quality operational performance. You will need to demonstrate highly developed leadership behaviours and be a role model for our values, inclusion, staff engagement, and teams.
The successful candidate will provide professional advice to the Trust Board and Committees regarding the effective and efficient delivery of all operational performance and clinical support services. The Chief Operating Officer will lead the team who work to ensure effective delivery of key strategies, key performance indicators, and objectives. The post holder is expected to implement effective and innovative delivery of services, improving productivity, quality, and value for money across the organisation. The post carries responsibility for Emergency Preparedness Resilience and response and is responsible for the clinical Units and support services within the Trust.

Service Delivery and Performance
- Lead the delivery of the recovery framework, balancing service and activity recovery with staff recovery and wellbeing
- Lead and support the Unit Leadership Teams to develop and deliver service plans that achieve and sustain an outstanding rating by the CQC. This should include co-production with patients and stakeholders wherever possible.
- Ensure effective operational management and planning of the Trusts front line clinical services.
- Lead the achievement of key service standards relating to access and waiting times, placing services in the upper quartile of performance where achievable.
