Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist with experience in Amputee Rehabilitation to join our dynamic team, based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford but with cross site working to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Previous experience of using the PPAM aid and Femurett, and delivering prosthetic rehabilitation to above and below knee amputees is essential.
The post is for 4 days per week, working days negotiable. You will work alongside our Clinical Band 7 Lead, TSW and the Consultant and Prosthetist clinics.
Demonstration of Trust values will be confirmed by interview, which will include values based scenarios in addition to clinical questions.
Main duties of the job
As a Specialised Physiotherapist in Amputee rehabilitation you will be integral in delivering outpatient rehabilitation within our amputee service.
You will also work alongside and be supported by our Deputy Therapy Operational Managers, Therapy Operational Manager and Therapy Outpatient Centre Manager and Head of Profession (OPD) in setting a new direction for our services alongside the Therapy Quality Improvement Leads (TQILs).
