We are looking for new members to join in maternity. You would need to be flexible, hardworking, enjoy changing daily work with an interest in pregnancy and supporting women throughout this exciting time.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit friendly, motivated and compassionate individuals to become part of our established Women's Service Assistants Team within the Antenatal Areas of Princess Royal Hospital Women and Childrens Unit
Working alongside the Midwifery team you would be involved in providing direct care for Women during pregnancy as well as the operational running of the clinical areas ensuring we continue to achieve high standards of cleanliness and patient care.
About us
These posts are based within the Antenatal Ward, Obstetric Triage, Delivery suite and Postnatal ward but we may require you to work in other areas of Maternity as the service needs. Care provision is 24 hours, 7 days a week and you will be required to work shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
You would be working with a range of health professionals to care for women throughout pregnancy. No two days are the same and it can be a very busy yet rewarding fast paced environment.
