Job summary

This is an exciting time to be joining Clinical Support Services as we embark on a journey of transformation and innovation within the Clinical Support Services (CSS) Division which covers Pathology, Pharmacy , Radiology and Therapies at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

We are a friendly, innovative and business focussed team located at the two main sites within the Trust at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Shropshire with a strong and committed leadership team, led by Anna Martin, Director of Operations and Dr Angus McGregor Divisional Medical Director.

You will work with our internal and system partners and will be a 'people person' utilising your extensive collaborative and influencing skills to deliver the business as usual and support the implementation of major projects.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as Deputy Divisional Director of Operations, CSS and as a member of the CSS leadership team, play a key role in decision making within the Division. You will work with internal and system partners to support the implementation of major transformation projects and provide support for projects by creating business cases, plans and assurance as required.

Working closely with the CSS Centre Leadership Teams, SaTH Divisional Colleagues, Corporate Services, Executive Team and STW System partners you will play a crucial role in developing the maturity and visibility of the progress of CSS transformation programmes.
