Job summary

To provide an administrative service within the Education Support Unit to support organisational learning and development, primarily the input and maintenance of accurate training and development records on the Learning Made Simple online platform and Electronic Staff Record (ESR). The post holder will vary their work pattern by assisting the wider Integrated Education Team and general office administration.

Alongside this position, the post holder will be required to complete the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.

Main duties of the job

Learning Made Simple Online Platform (LMS) / ESR Administration

  • Set up courses and events on LMS and ESR system as required by members of the Education Support Unit

  • Record clinical and non-clinical training, development & competence data onto LMS and ESR

  • Record training attendance into the LMS and ESR database as required by the Education Support Unit

  • Collate course evaluation forms.

Job responsibilities

Learning Made Simple Online Platform (LMS) / ESR Administration

Set up courses and events on LMS and ESR system as required by members of the Education Support Unit

Record clinical and non-clinical training, development & competence data onto LMS and ESR

Record training attendance into the LMS and ESR database as required by the Education Support Unit

Collate course evaluation forms.

Vocational Learning Administration

Occasionally assist with Vocational Learning - related administration as required eg:

  • The input of data on to a database
  • The photocopying of training materials and candidate documentation
  • The filing of candidate documentation accurately and retrieval as required.
  • The dissemination of Vocational Learning Centre related information as required
  • Education Support Unit Administration Support

Assist with the preparation and collation of training materials for members of the Education Support Unit and wider Integrated Education Teams including pre-course work, presentation materials, course papers, evaluation forms etc as required by the Education Support Unit Coordinators.

Assist with the general administration cover for the Education Support Unit eg:

  • Dealing with in-coming and out-going calls and correspondence
  • Arranging meetings
  • Working with other administration colleagues to ensure adequate office cover
