We are looking for a motivated and flexible occupational therapist to join an exciting cross trust rotation in West London covering community rehabilitation, inpatient rehab, rapid response, mental health inpatient and community, neuro, home first , discharge hub and wheelchair services.
This is an ideal opportunity for new graduates, those who are qualifying in the next 3 months or current Band 5 occupational therapists looking to build on their experience within a supportive, friendly environment. It will give you an excellent feel for how modern health care is delivered in different settings across the Borough of Hounslow.Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapists receive regular supervision with senior clinicians, Preceptorship meetings , monthly OT meeting and rotation specific training as part of the band 5 competency programme.
Main duties of the job
Each rotation is for 6 months however the post holder may be required to rotate at an earlier or later date depending on service need.To manage own caseload, assess plan and implement and evaluate interventions using evidence based/best practice, working towards patient centred goals in the context of the speciality and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
