In this role, you'll collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor EDI action plans, analyze workforce data, and develop strategies to enhance our equality performance outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to creating an environment where every individual can thrive and contribute to our collective success.

Main duties of the job

As the EDI Workforce Partner, you will:

Develop and implement localised EDI action plans aligned with the Trust's overall strategy

Analyse data related to EDI metrics, including WRES, WDES, and Model Employer targets

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote EDI awareness and engagement

Design and deliver tailored EDI training programs in partnership with the Learning and Development team

Prepare reports and presentations on the progress and impact of EDI initiatives

Provide guidance on EDI policies and best practices to managers and staff

Support the implementation and evaluation of the Patient and Carers Race Equality Framework (PCREF)

Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the Trust's EDI practices

Participate in relevant networks and forums to share knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry best practices

  • Experience in improving workforce race equality (WRES), disability standards (WDES), Gender Pay Gap and WRES Model Employer targets
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of a breadth of analytical methods and their application, to provide high-quality, timely analysis and intelligence.
  • Experience of building and analysing statistical charts - and willingness to develop these quality monitoring skills further.
  • Experience of responding to EDI issues through application of professional knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of advising and dealing with EDI with staff and managers at all levels
