Main duties of the job
1. In consultation with the Trust Secretary, to ensure that the Board of Directors and its subcommittees are properly constituted, operated and supported in accordance with the Trust's Standing Orders/Standing Financial Instructions and the wider regulatory framework;
2. To prepare high quality Board and Committee documents and presentation material using Trust agreed formats within the allocated timeframes;
3. To update and maintain the Register of interests for Directors, Key Decision-Making Staff and Connected Medical Staff; and the Trust's Standards of Business Conduct Policy;
4. Support the Trust Secretary in providing Corporate Governance information and expertise for the Trust Annual Report, Board Self-Certification and Annual Governance Statement submitted under regulatory and legal requirements;
5. Act as one of the points of contact between the Trust and regulators, providing information and statistics as required.
