LAC and SISP CAMHS Clinical Team Manager Hounslow CAMHS
Open to Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Family Therapy, Child Psychotherapy, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy
Due to significant expansion within the service, and a recognition of the value of senior specialist input within our CAMHS LAC and SISP services for looked after children and children and families on the edge of care proceedings, we are pleased to be seeking to recruit to a new post of clinical team manager to operationally manage and provide clinical leadership within these services, alongside providing specialist clinical input into the LAC team
This is an exciting opportunity to take a strategic lead in maintaining high quality services, and further developing the service in line with research evidence and best practice guidelines through close collaboration with NHS and local authority colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The role would suit a CAMH clinician with significant experience in working with children, families, and other professionals within a social care setting, who wishes to combine clinical aspects of the role with supporting others to continue to offer a high quality clinical service through compassionate and effective management and clinical leadership.
Support with strategic direction will come from both the local Borough Lead Clinician, and the relevant Head of Discipline. There are excellent opportunities for continuing professional development, and specialist supervision groups are provided through a combination of internal and external supervisors. The post holder will benefit from close and collaborative links with other clinicians in similar roles within our other trust boroughs of Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham.
