Our three well-established and friendly IAPT (NHS Talking Therapies) services, Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Ealing are now recruiting Trainee PWPs as part of the access to IAPT training programme.
This is a really exciting and rewarding opportunity! Training course fees on this programme are fully funded by the NHS and you'll also receive a Band 4 NHS salary while you study!
PWP training is provided by University College London (UCL) and is full time. You'll be employed and paid by us, attend university 1 or 2 days per week, and work in one of our services the remaining 3-4 days, spending some time in one of our locations and some working from home.
We are looking for trainees to join us who share the West London NHS Trust Values - Togetherness, Responsibility, Excellence and Caring. These underpin how we treat each other and our patients.

Main duties of the job
You'll help deliver brief structured supported psychological treatments, such as guided self-help, for people with anxiety and depression across the adult age range.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with people with psychological, interpersonal or social problems; either through employed positions or formal volunteer roles.
This course is a postgraduate certificate and you'll need to demonstrate your ability to study at postgraduate level, either through degree level education or demonstration of academic equivalence.
We are keen to recruit a workforce that is representative of the diverse local London population with the three boroughs we cover.
