Salary: Band 5: £31,163 to £37,875 (Including outer HCA).
Once you becomeBand 6: £38,762 to £45,765 (Including outer HCA). Preceptorship: £1000 on completion

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, closed Bank Holidays.

An exciting opportunity has become available for newly qualified nurses in Ealing Acton MINT. This role is perfect for nurses that are keen to learn new skills quicklyand advance their careers.
You will be joining at an exciting time as we transformour services following the Community Mental Health Framework. This framework represents a new approach to situating and providing place-based integratedsupport, care and treatment in the community for people with mental health problems whatever their level of need.You will get to work in a multidisciplinary team and also get to work alongside General Practitioners and our community partners.
Main duties of the job
Community mental health nurses play a key role in dissolving the barriers that can exist between mental health and physical health, social care, voluntary and community social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and local communities, and primary and secondary care, to deliver integrated, personalised, place-based and well-coordinated care for adults and older adults. We are moving towards a 'whole system' of mental health care, which will provide timely access to support, care andtreatment.

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Professional qualification in mental health - Mental Health Nursing (RMN) with current NMC registration
Desirable
- Educated to degree or Diploma level with other courses relevant to primary care mental health services e.g. CBT, Brief Solution Focussed Therapy etc.
- RGN/physical health qualification
- Evidence of recent and on-going relevant further professional development
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience of post qualifying work in psychiatry.
- Experience of supervising junior staff within own and/or other disciplines
Desirable
- Evidence of experience in a Band 6 position or equivalent
- Other relevant post registration experience
- Audit and research experience
- Experience of Experience of working in a primary care setting/ social care/ voluntary sector teaching/training in a formal or informal setting
