Job summary
Permanent Senior Occupational Therapist (OT), Band 5/6 development role, Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT), West London NHS Trust, Hounslow. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated band 5 OT who wishes to extend their skills and experiences with view to develop into a band 6 OT. This is a new and exciting development and we keen to welcome band 5 OT's who are enthusiastic about working in mental health. The post will support your development of OT and generic mental health practitioner skills. The post holder will have supervision by the CATT band 7 OT who will work alongside the band 5/6 post. The post holder will work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to grow and develop supported by a Senior OT. CATT are integrated, multi-disciplinary, community based teams offering assessments and treatment for service users referred to them. CATT work in partnership with mental health service user, their families or carers, in order to prevent deterioration and promote recovery. Main duties of the job
To provide a client-centred occupational therapy service to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs.
To work closely with the wider MDT to provided targeted occupational therapy assessment and interventions.
To use evidence based assessment treatment planning, intervention and evaluation within the model of human occupation.
To be able to effectively manage and prioritise work and time in line with the team structure.
To be a resource for the team, providing, occupational therapy professional guidance, and to support on the evaluation and continued development of the occupational therapy service.
To support supervision for less clinically experienced staff, support staff and students including conducting Performance Development Review (PDR) as appropriate.
To be able to work in a collaborate manner with the MDT in the crisis team.

Clinical:
