Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the NHS Charities Together Project Powering Recovery to support the coordination, development and promotion of the funded project within West London NHS Trust.
The post holder will support the Project Manager to ensure all activity is aligned to the outcomes of the Powering Recovery project as developed and delivered by West London NHS Trust in partnership with the Third Sector in Ealing.
The project will specifically focus on the role of technology and digital enablement and providing infrastructure support to groups and patients in line with KPI and service targets.
This post is an exciting opportunity to work within a team that are striving to improve the patient experience through the use of technology to support patient interventions.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate the activities of volunteers on the project to support patients to access technology for their health needs
Act as the first point of contact for the project through face to face, telephone and email queries
Identify patients who currently do not use digital channels for healthcare access
With the support of volunteers work with patients to improve digital inclusion
Work with partner organizations and stakeholders to promote digital inclusion
Identify and support patients and groups of patients who are digitally excluded
Liaise and work with stakeholders and external volunteering organizations to support and recruit volunteers within the Trust.
Develop strong working relationships with Trust departments, external agencies/organisations both in the voluntary and public sectors
Identifying patient cohorts requiring additional medical/social support
Support the Digital Health Champion with the placement of volunteers
Incrementally increase numbers of volunteers on the project

- The role will be part of a small team who work together and are supportive to each other and other members of staff in Ealing Community Partners. It would suit an individual who is a self-starter and enjoys engaging with services users to support them with digital access.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office package including advanced excel.
Desirable
- Project Management qualification.
- Additional specialist knowledge acquired through post graduate diploma level or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working within a voluntary/ charity organisation and within community settings.
- Experience of project management cycles and supporting projects.
- Ability to record and report on project activities.
- Experience of supporting a team, and communicating with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
