Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Partnering & Advisory team as an Associate Workforce Partner. This role will support our High Secure Services and Forensic Services CSUs. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to take responsibility for the smaller Estates and Facilities Department providing the full suite of HR operational services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience of working in an Employee Relations role, and will be the first point of contact supporting the services. Other responsibilities will include involvement in Change Management, Training and various HR workforce and OD streams that are developed. The successful candidate must have good IT skills, and will be expected to use Excel to provide a number of HR related reports to a high level.
We are looking for an exceptional HR professional to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be expected to work from 2 sites Crowthorne and Ealing.
Main duties of the job
As an Associate Workforce Partner your key accountabilities in the role are:
- To lead on all aspects of Employee Relations issues and support in providing advice to managers including disciplinary, grievances, colleague development & performance management
- Offering advice and guidance on the Trusts policies and procedures.
- Managing and prioritising a high volume caseload effectively.
- Completing reports for Senior Management Team meetings.
- Line managing the HR Assistant role within the trust.
- Maintaining the Trusts confidentiality and high standards of professionalism at all times.
The key skills/experience required are:
- HR Experience, preferably in a fast paced business environment.
- Be able to work autonomously and lead on any Employee Relations issues.
- Up to date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practise.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and letter writing skills.
- Ability to prioritise a busy case load in a reactive environment.
