Whittington Health Audiology and Vestibular Medicine Service
Audiologist
AFC - Band 5
Full time substantive post, 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Audiologists to join our friendly team to deliver a quality Adult assessment and rehabilitation care pathway.
Clinics are held at a number of locations across Haringey and Islington.
The postholder will be based predominantly at St Ann's hospital, although there will be rotation at other sites.
We also work closely with UCL/Middlesex university to provide clinical placements for BSc students.
Main duties of the job
To perform routine audiological assessments on adults without direct supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
To select and fit hearing aids to routine adult clients referred from General Practitioners, and internally via ENT/ Consultant Audiological Physician as directed.
To assist senior Audiological staff/medical staff with non- routine diagnostic and rehabilitative cases for both adults and children.
