Job summary
Soft Services Manager is responsible for the overall management and service delivery of the following services: Domestic, Portering and Patient Dining. A key element of this role is always to carry out effective communications to all levels, including particularly complex levels of negotiations relating to tendering processes along with overcoming communication barriers and delivering disciplinary decisions and statements. To work with service managers: Domestic Manager, Portering Manager and Patient Dining manager, to deliver the Directorate's strategic and operational agenda. Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of operational services to the agreed standards and within the established financial constraints.

Leadership
Contributes to the shaping of the vision of the hospital and departments that job role isresponsible for.Provide visible leadership to all staff, promoting a clear sense of direction within theDirectorate, in line with achieving the hospitals objectives.Creates a climate which both encourages teamwork and maximises individuals potential.
Strategic Planning
