Job summary
We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our senior operations team as Deputy Group Directors of Operations for the Trauma and Neuro Group.
We require a highly competent and motivated leader to support driving performance, strategic development, and innovation across their portfolio and group.
As the Deputy Group Director of Operations, you will collaborate with the Clinical Leads to lead, manage and support the development of the services within the designated portfolio, ensuring continuous improvement to service delivery, performance and efficiency. This role will also ensure the delivery of high quality, effective patient focussed services and the achievement of efficiency targets, financial and quality targets.

Main duties of the job
- Work in partnership with the Group Director of Operations in providing high level leadership and senior operational management of the operational teams and processes across the group
- Lead , manage and support the development of services to achieve key activity and financial targets.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to implement service improvements, driving innovation through lean management
- Manage budgets, develop workforce strategies, and oversee risk assessments
- Deputise for the Group Director of Operations
Medicine Group- comprises the leadership and operational management of Stroke, Neurology, Neurophysiology, Neurosurgery, Major Trauma, Plastic Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics , Cardiac and Thoracic.

- A proven track record of successfully delivering against set objectives and achieving key targets, demonstrating continuous and quality improvement
