Job summary

Support the Registered Nursing staff in providing assistance and personal care for patients within University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Trust.

Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities

The route available is:

NO previous Healthcare experience: -Trainee HCA-75% of a band 2-£17,711+ enhancements

As a trainee HCA you will have NO previous experience of working within care. You are required to study a level 2 health and social care related qualification alongside your working role.

You must be aged 16 or overBe a Resident in the UK/ EEA for the last three yearsMust NOT be in any form of formal government-funded education

Please note that sponsorship is not available for this post.

Successful applicants will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable vacancy becomes available in the Trust.

The Recruitment Centre:

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a Recruitment Centre. This Recruitment Centre is intended to show you what its really like to be a healthcare assistant, and to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate how you would provide excellent quality care to our patients and their families within a modern health care facility.

The Recruitment centre will involve a basic literacy test and if you are successful you will go forward to an interview. If you are successful at interview, and there isnt a current vacancy that meets your needs, well keep in touch and update you as jobs arise.
