Job summary
This is a varied and exciting role supporting the functions of the Infection Prevention Control and Sepsis Team (IPC) in delivering compassionate and respectful care.
The successful post holder will work with other members of the team on the prevention, surveillance, investigation, audit, and general control of infection at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

Main duties of the job
- Undertake agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, extending range following training and assessment of competence in defined practices. Ensure referral to the appropriate healthcare practitioner where appropriate
- Participates in the maintenance of standards in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and protocol
- Demonstrate technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient management e.g. evaluation of effective hand hygiene techniques
- Organise own daily workload assessing departmental prioritie
The IPC team is a dynamic and friendly team working across the organisation with patients and staff.
