Senior Clinical Fellow in Radiology

Job summary

We are looking to appoint two part-time Clinical Fellows in Radiology for 12-month posts in the radiology department at UHCW to support with General Radiology and Cross Sectional Imaging. You will join a dynamic team to deliver high quality radiology to the patients of Coventry & Warwickshire within a state-of-the-art radiology department. You will work alongside the consultants & radiographers to deliver high quality care to patients visiting the radiology department as well as attending appropriate MDT's and clinical meetings.

Main duties of the job

The primary duties of the clinical post will be to provide general support within the department including reporting sessions and participation in multi-disciplinary meetings (MDTs). The department is seeking flexible candidates who will support and meet service needs.

To provide, in collaboration with clinical and Radiology colleagues,

  • Radiology services to patients in Coventry, Rugby and the surrounding districts.
  • To work with the existing Radiologists to deliver the department's activity. This will include ensuring that all appropriate waiting lists and waiting times are adhered to, that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner and that the principles of risk management and clinical governance are maintained at all times.
  • To support multi-disciplinary team meetings.
  • To develop an academic and research interest (individuals with specific specialist skills are welcome to add those to the Trust's imaging scope)
