UHCW strongly encourages all staff to have both doses of vaccination as it still remains the most effective way to protect all Trust employees, their family members and patients against infection.

Until the Government announces the result of its review process, UHCW will continue to ask people taking up employment with the Trust to confirm their personal COVID-19 vaccination status (or to confirm that they are exempted on medical grounds).

Should the Government uphold the position that mandatory vaccination is a condition of continued employment all staff at UHCW would be mandated to meet this requirement.
