Job summary
This post is required to assist in providing, under consultant supervision, comprehensive medical service to patients across the Oncology, services at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Post holders will be predominately ward-based working alongside multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of safe and effective care.
This post is based at the UHCW NHS Trust, Coventry. Applicants require full GMC Registration and should have or be working towards MRCP(UK). Experience in oncology is desirable

Main duties of the job
Mainly ward based duties, chemotherapy, and acute Oncology cover (experience and competency dependant).

The appointee will be expected to provide ongoing care of inpatients in conjunction with other colleagues. They will be expected to work closely with nursing, professional and technical staff, other departments and members of the multidisciplinary team. They will be expected to attend Consultant led ward rounds, board rounds, cover chemotherapy suite and help out with acute Oncology.
Pattern of work
These posts will work predominantly work Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:30 however rotas are negotiable and depending on rotational gaps on call shifts around these times may be available
