Job summary
West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit HCPC Registered Paramedics who will work as a member of the Clinical Validation Team within the Integrated Emergency Operations Centre, working collaboratively with colleagues across the service to ensure an excellent level of service is provided to patients and will be providing support and specialist advice line for both call assessors and operational crews.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the safe clinical triage of 999 calls within the clinical queue utilising NHSP pathways triage tool/ PaCCs. The provision of advice and support to meet the identified needs of the patient and where required the onward referral to other services utilising the DoS or electronic transfer to services
Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience (including completion of NQP consolidation & portfolio submission if applicable - evidence of completion will be required)
Full & Part time positions are available, however, you must be able to work full rotating shift patterns for this post (all days of the week, days, nights, evenings, weekends / RAL). Minimum number of hours for part time is 22.5 hours per week
Training is completed on a full time basis for 4 weeks followed by mentoring shifts therefore you must be able to commit to this if applying for a part time post
