Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Site Services team at South Hams Hospital - Kingsbridge, Devon. The team support a wide range of essential services throughout the hospital, all of which will directly and indirectly affect patient care.

We are currently looking for Patient Services Assistants to join our team to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to wards and departments on site.

All shifts flexible between the hours of 06.30 - 20.00

***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification***

Main duties of the job

The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of general environmental cleaning on the wards and Departments including responsibility for the cleaning of all sanitary areas such as toilets, bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms. Daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment. The provision and service of food and beverages to patients throughout the day
