Job summary
Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in Occupational Medicine for 9 PA's per week to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing Department.
Main duties of the job
Experience in Occupational Medicine and the Diploma in Occupational Medicine are desirable but not essential. The main role of the Specialty Doctor is to see patients in our clinic on the Derriford site but there will also be opportunities to visit our client's workplaces. The job plan is 9 PA's per week and will be made up of clinics/clinical admin time and will include 1.5 hours of SPA each week. There is no on-call commitment.
About us
The OH Department covers the full range of NHS occupational medicine including pre-employment reviews, workplace visits, statutory medical surveillance, advice on long-term sickness absence, rehabilitation, medical retirements, immunisation programmes and health and safety advice.
The Department also has contracts with numerous organisations in the public sector, commercial and voluntary sectors giving us a wide range of clinical exposure.
