This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in supporting the Therapies Service Line with various IT systems.
The post holder's role ranges from dealing with daily diary amendments / management to providing accurate high level data analysis for therapy managers. They would need high level ability to interpret data extraction, ability to understand service provision to support the articulation of data in a presentable and user-friendly format.
The postholder will provide specialist technical knowledge, advice and support for the Therapies Information Systems (currently Tiara for Plymouth sites and SystmOne for South Ham/ Tavistock sites ) used a clinical environment, ensuring continuity of patient care at all times across the service line.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
Main duties of the job
To provide specialist technical knowledge advice and support for the Therapies information Systems (currently Tiara for Plymouth sites and SystmOne for South Ham sites and future EPR systems) in the clinical environment, ensuring continuity of patient care at all times across the service line.
The Tiara and SystmOne are highly complex computerised systems designed to store, manage, display and report on inpatient, outpatient and Community activity for the Therapies. These are critical systems being an integral aspect of financial performance data, KPI's, business planning and service improvement.
The Tiara and SystmOne are computerised systems designed to manage the Therapies department's waiting lists, daily appointments diary, Therapy attendances, Therapy inpatient data and Therapy communication reports at the point of need.
The Therapies IT Systems and Project Specialist will manage systems support to include the exchange of clinical data between Trusts, Healthcare providers and clinicians. They will manage the delivery of numerous concurrent evolving projects, taking ownership of work stream progress, and other elements of project management, identified by the Deputy Service Line Manager or Service Line Cluster Manager.

- To generate accurate service level reports, develop bespoke specialist reports which meet the needs of the Therapies SL, identify and manage system errors and downtime as required by the Deputy SLM or Service Line Cluster Manager

- To manage the integrated Tiara / SystmOne / EPR Therapy Unit performance data, linking South Hams MSK and Urgent Care Beds throughout the Plymouth and South Hams Health Community.
- To manage any Tiara/SystmOne / EPR upgrades, analyse and diagnose technical issues on standard and remote computer installations. To work with software teams (eg Ethitec for Tiara) where gaining supplier authorisation to re-install software where necessary, and ensure performing software upgrades run effectively.
- Identify and report reoccurring issues, participating in the evaluation of solutions. Where issues require third party support, liaise with suppliers, and make provision for support.Escalate issues that remain unresolved or where additional expenditure is required.
- To train staff on the use of Tiara / SystmOne / EPR Therapy Unit systems. Participate in user management of Tiara/SystmOne, supporting the deputy SLM, admin leads and Therapy staff with any new developments or problem solving.
- Develop working relationships with members of the IM&T team, reporting appropriate issues via the IM&T helpdesk or external providers (eg Ethitec), and relaying technical information to aid the timely resolution of issues.
- Liaise with people of all grades, establish, and maintain professional relationships with key Therapy stakeholders, Therapy business contacts, staff, colleagues and users at all times.
Project Management:
