Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust as a Patient Services Assistant.

University Hospitals Plymouth will be providing all Hotel Services to the organisation and are now recruiting for a variety of roles with various hours available.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are essential to maintaining hygienic and clean environments for patients, staff and visitors throughout the hospital.

***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***

Main duties of the job

A passion for customer satisfaction and excellent organisational skills are a must as you will work as part of the Hotel Services team to ensure the delivery of general environmental cleaning on the wards and Departments and the provision of food and beverages to patients throughout the day.

The cleaning responsibilities may include:

-cleaning all the patient treatment areas

-cleaning patient isolation cubicles and bed spaces

-cleaning sanitary areas such as toilets

-cleaning bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms

-daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment

Part time hours available mainly evenings working 15.30 - 19.30
