***********THIS JOB WOULD BE AN IDEAL DIRECT ENTRY POINT TO CT FOR NEW GRADUATES QUALIFYING IN 2024************
We are looking for radiographers who put the patient at the centre of their practice, who also have a keen interest in CT. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in CT and ideally possess skills in intravenous contrast administration. However, applications will be considered from radiographers keen to move into CT without previous experience and the department does have a full training and mentoring program. The CT department aims to provide a supportive environment with a focus on patient care, safe and quality practice, and staff well-being. This role would be a perfect stepping stone in to CT for a newly qualified radiographer or a radiographer with minimal CT experience.

There is a CPD calendar with active participation from imaging staff and we support and encourage radiographers in their career development. We have 5 CT radiographers undertaking independent CT head reporting. and 2 radiographer running independent cardiac lists. Currently we are also training radiographers in head and colon reporting and support career development through the appraisal process.
The department takes student radiographers from Exeter University and Plymouth University, and is a training site for Radiologists, meaning that teaching is a core part of the CT Radiographers role
