Job summary
We are looking for an Audio Typist with demonstrable experience to join the friendly and committed Oncology team based within Derriford Hospital for 37.5hrs per week.
You will be working closely with the medical/support secretaries and your role will be to provide high quality clerical support in the form of audio typing and basic office functions as directed to ensure the smooth running of the service for both patients and colleagues alike. This post will also be required to provide additional support to the support secretaries when required.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be using a system called Big Hand and will be typing audio dictations from clinical staff.
The successful candidate will on occasion support Medical Secretaries with administration duties.
