Job summary

As a member of the team you will be expected to work in a confident and professional manner; the successful applicant will provide exemplary planned care for patients within the Cath Lab and external cardiology areas. Additionally, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary teams that access and work in the Cath Lab environment.

The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly as there is an expectation that you will provide out of hours on call support. We are open Mon-Fri 8-630 with the expectation to work 4 shifts over 5 days with an on-call out of hours commitment.

Main duties of the job

? Provides high quality care to patients and their families during the perioperative period.? Reporting and documenting all relevant patient needs, communicating changes to otherhealth professionals in the multidisciplinary team.? Act as Practitioner in charge, in the absence of the Team Leader ensuring efficientallocation of staff and resources.? Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical excellence and play anactive role in the introduction of this evidence to improve patient centred care.?
