Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity within the IM&T Client Services Team. You will be responsible for the technical management of the Trust's client device estate. The Trusts' client device strategy is based around the Microsoft Windows operating system family, currently Windows 10 Enterprise, and Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems for mobility.

A highly skilled engineer, who can demonstrate in-depth experience and advanced knowledge in the above technologies in order to support the delivery of technical excellence in a small busy team

Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
- This is a key post within a close-knit team providing technical support for all client related services provided by IM&T.
- Involvement in supporting the delivery of the Problem Management function for IM&T.
- The post holder will be required to assist with maintaining and managing the client device estate.
- To ensure all client documentation is kept up to date and published in the correct format.
Provide assurance that the Trust maintains a "warranted environment" that is fit for purpose. Including both hardware and the change control of device images. Support IM&Ts Problem Management function.
Product Expert for all client related tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, antivirus, AirWatch. Ensure systems are kept up to date and fit for purpose. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and will change as other systems come online.
You will be responsible for the system management and system upgrades for the Trusts desktop management systems, including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Sophos Endpoint Security and Control, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, Citrix, VMWare Workspace One Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Intune, Imprivata OneSign, and ITHealth Dashboard (Lansweeper).
You will also be responsible for the operating system and software application security and vulnerability patching for an estate of in excess of 12000 client devices
