Job summary

The key aspects of this role will be:

  • The post holder will assist the Corporate Systems Specialist in managing all aspects of the Plymouth Health Communities telephone systems and other Corporate Systems under the team remit.

  • This role will assist in the development of relevant processes for the team.

  • Organisations supported include University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Livewell, Ministry of Defence Hospital Unit and others.

  • This role will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of data quality for all relevant records.

The post holder will be communicating with all levels of staff across the Trusts, so being able to write clear, concise emails, have an excellent telephone manner and be confident when dealing with other staff in person is essential.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person to join the Plymouth IT Corporate Systems Team as a Corporate Systems Analyst, providing IT services to Derriford, Livewell, Sentinel and Harbour users.

Specific duties include

    • Provide assistance system managing the Trust's various telecommunications systems and other systems, including and not limited to:

    • Mitel telephone systems including connected lines and call configuration
    • Mitel Switchboard console system
    • Mitel Audio Web Conferencing system
    • Video Conferencing and online/web based conferencing solutions such as Webex
    • Netcall system
    • Mitel NuPoint auto-attendant & voicemail system
    • Mobiso Lyric speech server
    • BTS call logger
    • Telephonium telephone directory system
    • Legacy systems (Siemens iSDXs)
    • Mobile phones
    • Radio Pagers
    • Multitone Bleeps
    • RFID systems
    • ServiceNow
