Job summary
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking an experienced, highly motivated administrator to join our innovative Medical Education team.
The Medical Education Co-ordinator for simulation is a key member of the Medical Education Department and is responsible for the day-to-day operational administrative support for the service. The post holder will be expected to co-ordinate, organise and provide administrative and operational support for the provision of postgraduate medical education within the Trust.
The SFH Simulation Unit provides Clinical Procedural Skills, Simulation and courses to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Trainees. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support for the Clinical Skills and Simulation Team within the Department of Medical Education.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver day-to-day administrative support to project managers, independently resolving issues across multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all clinical skills and simulation inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication with end users.
- Assist in planning training events, developing new courses and teaching methods, and supporting technology-enhanced learning initiatives.
- Facilitate end-user engagement by coordinating training sessions and providing essential guidance on project-related activities.
