Job summary
We are looking for experienced and dedicated MRI radiographers to join our MRI team. We will also consider experienced Radiographers who are looking to train in MRI.
This is an exciting opportunity currently based at the Kings Mill site, with the potential for future rotation across all SFH sites . The MRI department will benefit from the introduction of the new state-of-the-art Philips Ingenia Ambition 1.5T system in the next 12 months, within an environment designed to offer the best service to optimize both staff and patients' experiences.
We also have exciting expansion plans underway to increase the MRI service across the Trust over the next 18 months, including the development of our new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) MRI at Mansfield Community Hospital.
The post-holder will work as part of a team consisting of radiographers, an assistant practitioner, and imaging assistants to provide a 12-hour, 7-day service including Bank Holidays in the MRI Department. The successful candidate will develop specialized knowledge and expertise to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining high standards of care.
