Job summary
We are looking to recruit to a fixed term position within Trauma and Orthopaedics to cover a career break.
This post will be 12.5 PAs, with an on call commitment of 1 in 16 weekends and 1 in 16 weekdays.
Main duties of the job
You will join an existing team of 17 consultants, 4 ST3+ and 10 speciality doctors providing a comprehensive Orthopaedic Service to the western part of North Nottinghamshire and, in particular, the residents of the Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark Districts.To be considered for this position you will need full registration with the General Medical Council and have MBBS or equivalent. You will have at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which is in Orthopaedics.

- MRCS or equivalent

- Higher Orthopaedic degree or Progress towards or attainment of intercollegiate college exams
Experience

- Must have completed at least four years' full time post graduate training (or equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis) at least 12 months in Trauma & Orthopaedics; or have equivalent experience and competencies

- Previous experience in a multidisciplinary setting
- Experience within the specialty in the UK
