In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the design, development, and delivery of organisational development, engagement, and improvement activities across the Trust and the wider healthcare system. Your efforts will directly contribute to making SFH a fantastic place to work and improve patient care.

Essential

  • Up to date knowledge of training, delivery and organisational development
  • Current knowledge of a range of OD theories and methodologies
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Demonstrate understanding of acute hospital culture, systems and processes

Desirable

  • Knowledge of quality improvement approaches
  • Knowledge of NHS IT systems eg ESR
  • Knowledge of NHS Staff Surveys
  • Understanding of NHS People Plan

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Training, Teaching and Facilitation qualification or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development

Desirable

  • OD Practitioner qualification or equivalent
  • Coaching qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience of developing and delivering training and OD interventions
  • Significant experience of facilitating focus groups and delivering presentations
  • Significant experience of managing organisational surveys, data interpretation and quality assurance frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Credibility to work with all staff groups
  • Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to present complex and /or sensitive information
  • Self-motivated, flexible 'can-do' team worker
  • Resilient and able to challenge
  • Ability to manage conflicting pressures and to meet deadlines

  • Experience of working with clinical and non-clinical teams
