Essential
- Good general education standard/ GCSE qualifications in English and maths (grade C or above) or equivalent
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
Desirable
- Study beyond GCSE
- Advanced ECDL
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of data collection, spreadsheets/databases and clinical audit.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software / Windows-based applications
- Patient records / case notes
- Confidentiality
- Multidisciplinary Team working
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, clinical audit / data validation and analysis gained on the job / further training
Desirable
- Intermediate level knowledge and understanding of a range of routine work procedures particularly those based on data /information collection and processing

- Hospital computer systems e.g. Medway, case note tracking, ORION
