An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Finance Manager to join our Financial Management Team.

Reporting to one of our Senior Divisional Finance Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to a comprehensive financial management and support service to divisions, providing key business and financial support.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this role include

  • Supporting on all aspects of financial planning and management of the divisions, with the objective of supporting financial viability. This includes the budget setting and triangulation of expenditure, income and Division / Trust performance.
  • To provide accurate, timely and regular financial management information to the SDFM, as part of the monthly reporting cycle, linking activity and financial information. This will be done in partnership with the management accounts section.
  • Work with the Clinical Director, Divisional General Manager and other senior managers within the Division to identify reasons for variations in financial performance and identify actions and mitigations to address the variation.
  • With the Clinical Director, Divisional General Manager and other senior managers within the Division, produce a monthly re-forecast based upon current / planned activity and financial performance including the impact of identified actions / mitigations.
