Job summary

Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) are an Information Management & Technology (IM&T) service provider. We supply digital services including Infrastructure Management, Cyber Security, a full range of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Line Technical Support Services, along with Professional and Transformation services including Project Management & Training teams. NHIS are a shared service hosted by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (SFHFT) supporting Health and Care organisations across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS).

The Corporate and Business Support unit manages the internal business functions within NHIS, which are required for us to run as an ICT support service. These functions include financial management, corporate assurance, meetings administration (the NHIS Admin Team) and the internal digital business team.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn different ICT system and processes to help support the Digital Business Team provide excellent service to our customers and partners.

Main duties of the job

The Internal Digital Business Team (iDBT) maintain and develop positive and robust relationships with NHIS customers. The DBT's main remit is to foster the relationship between the Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) and its existing customer base, ensuring that the products and services provided, along with the associated performance is efficient, continues to remain effective and meeting the needs of the client organisation.

Support the Internal Digital Business Team to understand customer requirements in relation to their and broader ICT strategies.

Support the Digital Business team with the procurement of equipment and services

The post holder will need to be able to move and handle, small, medium, large and heavy ICT equipment in support of the NHIS the stock management processes and procedures.

To undertake routine administrative tasks such as filing, processing delivery notes, responding to emails, via the Digital Business mailbox, and answering phone queries from our partners and customers.

Own specific non-complex customer requirements and formally offer a solution via the issuing of a formal quotation on behalf of NHIS.

Extract information from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management system and associated tools to provide analysis, interpretation, and findings.
