Job summary

You have a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate, professional and dedicated team who are focused on creating a positive journey for all patients that are seen within the Trauma & Orthopaedics Service.

The work is fast-paced and challenging but very rewarding. Your experienced colleagues will provide you with a robust training programme that will help you build the skills, knowledge and confidence that you need to become a successful Patient Pathway Co-ordinator Support.

Main duties of the job

  • Supporting the PPC team.
  • Answering telephones.
  • General admin duties including photocopying, and filing.
  • Booking and re-arranging appointments if required.
  • Monitoring a shared inbox.
  • Typing clinical letters if required.
  • Tracking in and out case notes if required.

Essential

  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills.

Desirable

  • Medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general.

Qualifications Academic/Craft/ Professional

Essential

  • Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)

Desirable

  • European Computer Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level II Admin

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working within an office environment

Desirable

  • Customer Care
  • NHS experience
