  • Data Collection: Your primary mission will be to efficiently gather and record essential data for our Trauma and Orthopaedics Databases.
  • Clinical Support: Assist our clinicians in managing and maintaining national and local clinical audit initiatives pertaining to Trauma and Orthopaedics.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Streamline Trauma and Orthopaedics' operations by preparing data reports that drive informed decision-making.
  • Data Accuracy: Uphold the highest standards of data accuracy by supervising and advising nursing and medical staff in the data collection process. Rigorously validate and verify the quality of collected data.
  • Effective Communication: Serve as a bridge, effortlessly conveying and receiving complex, precise clinical data within our organization and to external stakeholders.

Essential

  • Good general education standard/ GCSE qualifications in English and maths (grade C or above) or equivalent
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Desirable

  • Study beyond GCSE
  • Advanced ECDL

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of data collection, spreadsheets/databases and clinical audit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software / Windows-based applications
  • Patient records / case notes
  • Confidentiality
  • Multidisciplinary Team working
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, clinical audit / data validation and analysis gained on the job / further training

Desirable
