Job summary
Work towards Performing, reporting and supervise cardiac/respiratory/vascular clinical investigative procedures with considerable individual responsibility and autonomy, working alone and as a team.
You will be working as an independent practitioner within a multidisciplinary department, contributing to the comprehensive range of investigative procedures. This specialised cardiac post requires a sound skills base which will be rewarded with the opportunity for further personal development and exposure to an wide range of investigations.
The successful applicant must:
o Have specialised knowledge and experience in Echocardiographyo Hold the BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalento Hold or be willing to undertake BSE certificationo Have experience of cardiology procedureso Have practical experience in Cardiology at an independent practice level
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, skilled and experienced Clinical Physiologist to join our friendly cardiovascular team. Our service provision covers invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in Echocardiography and would work towards BSE certification o
The none invasive physiologist will experience Standard Echo adult and Paediatric, TOE, DSE and Bike stress testing, we have visiting consultants for Paediatric and GUCH clinics, basic non-invasive tests such as exercise stress test, head up tilt tests, ambulatory monitoring and analysis. The department is open during the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with the Staff working a compressed 4 day week. This post will also include managerial responsibilities to the junior staff.
