Job summary

This role is specific to Neonatal Transitional Care. The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.

To work as a Registered Nurse in support of the Ward Leader in providing high standards of holistic neonatal and family care, ensuring that it is evidence based and compliant with best practice recommendations for NTC services.

Main duties of the job

Sherwood Forest Hospitals have an exciting Band 5 opportunity for enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurses or Midwives to join the Neonatal Transitional Care Team (NTC).

We have a 12 bedded local neonatal unit that cares for a range of infants from special care to intensive care, our team is dedicated to providing highly quality, and evidence base care. We have 6 Transitional Care Cots on the midwifery ward for infants who meet the BAPM 2017 criteria for NTC

We are looking for experienced registered nurses (adult or children) and/or midwives who is able to work flexibly over a 24-hour period, eager to develop their skills, expertise and keen to join a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive nursing team.
