Job summary
We are seeking an exceptional individuals with either a background in mental health/general/learning disability or midwifery or with social work experience, to support the expansion of the clinical vulnerabilities team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder will play a pivotal role in the care and support of individuals who may be at risk of abuse, in addition to supporting the overarching strategy to facilitate a trauma informed approach within the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity, to work in a new and developing service, working closely with the Director of Nursing for Safeguarding and Vulnerable people, our newly appointed Lead Nurse for Vulnerabilities, Associate Director of Nursing for Mental Health and other senior safeguarding/vulnerability leads, the postholder will collaborate closely with operational teams and support the delivery of a coherent trauma informed vulnerabilities service across all sites within the Trust.

- To support the ongoing development of the vulnerability service, ensuring all services are responsive, innovative, and provided to the highest possible standards, reducing any variation in quality
- To provide support and advice to staff in clinical areas providing care, in relation to all aspects of vulnerability, in collaboration with senior subject matter experts, support the advocacy service provided by the clinical vulnerabilities team. Work collaboratively with key partners and stakeholders in the implementation of pathway improvements for patients at increased risk of vulnerability
- To support in the delivery of specific projects and programmes, engaging with stakeholders and clinical colleagues. - Advanced qualification relevant to area of practice
- Masters level qualification or evidence of post graduate study/willingness to work towards Masters.
